“He was just so handsome!” Ashlee said, describing the first time she saw Brian. Ashlee’s family has known Brian for quite some time and had encouraged her to meet him previously but it wasn’t until a bar mitzvah in Toledo that they actually met. Ashlee was smitten by Brian’s handsomeness and his hilarious sense of humor (we love this about him, too). They chatted that night and he asked her to dance. Brian lives in Chicago and so they talked long distance and would visit each other for a few months. A little over a year ago, Ashlee decided to move to Chicago to be with Brian all the time. Brian asked Ashlee to be his wife while they were vacationing in Mexico and presented her with an engagement ring that he had incorporated her grandmother’s diamonds into the setting (so romantic, right?)

 

Our visit in Chicago was so much fun;  Brian & Ashlee showed us around the city and we ventured all around with their dog, Eddie sporting a bow tie! We ended our evening with dinner in Chinatown and ate the BEST Chinese food you can’t get anywhere else!
