We moved back to Toledo this past May to pursue our wedding photography business full time. And since then, we’ve been able to make some incredible friends that have made us feel at home. This Themed Bridal Shoot wouldn’t have been possible without the time, talent, and kindness of everyone involved.
It all started with the dress. During our move across the country, we were stuck in Wyoming (we know, awesome!) due to “winter weather”. And we decided to check out the local thrift shop and see what kind of things we could find. So there it was, the dress! Crumpled up, buried behind all sorts of used and forgotten wedding dresses. We snatched it up and started looking for all the accessories to go along with it. First we found the pearl necklace, then the shoes, and the gloves! We were so excited!
We prepared for this shoot for months, but we still needed a Bride, Hair and Makeup Artist, and a beautiful Wedding Venue. While re-establishing our wedding photography business in Toledo, we’ve had the opportunity to meet the most incredible people. Megan and Kevin are the Event Coordinators at Nazareth Hall, they opened their arms and allowed us to use their world class facility in Grand Rapids Ohio. Our Hair and Makeup Artist Carressa Jane Johnson is passionate about weddings and was absolutely amazing. She brought so much to this shoot. And while attending the Bridal show at the Radisson Hotel, we were introduced to two women that were so welcoming to us. Jen and Colleen from Beautiful Blooms By Jen in Sylvania. They provided a stunning bouquet for us to use at our shoot. And trust us, they do not disappoint! Jaime from AJ Jewelry made us the beautiful Fascinator and birdcage veil that matched our dress perfectly!

And at the end of it all, we feel incredibly blessed to be following our dream, and having the most amazing friends to share it with!
