Mackenzie & Kyle came to our house to meet us and talk about their wedding plans soon after their engagement in December at the Toledo Zoo. We discovered their mutual love of coffee shops and tea, giggling and visiting the zoo. Kyle had planned to ask Mackenzie to be his bride during the very romantic Lights Before Christmas spectacle hosted every winter from Thanksgiving to the New Year. He also thought to hire a friend to photograph the surprise proposal so that they could remember it forever. Kyle and Mackenzie shared with us the story of how they met at Cedar Creek Church where they both attend. Their first date was spent talking for hours over dinner and these in-depth conversations grew them closer together. Their faith keeps them strong and helps guide them in their journey. Once you meet these two, you can see the glimmer in Mackenzie’s eye when she looks at Kyle, and Kyle is so sweet with her.

We knew the Plate 21 café would be the perfect place to start their engagements and then we took a drive downtown to capture some of Toledo’s charm. Now their wedding is so close and we are excited to spend a beautiful summer day witnessing them become husband & wife!
