Nazareth Hall knows weddings. It’s the go-to venue for so many NW Ohio couples and has remained a favorite venue for over 35 years!
The history and character of Nazareth Hall makes this wedding venue the iconic choice for couples that are looking for a place that checks all of the boxes:
- A trusted wedding venue for decades
- All wedding events happen in one place
- Friendly staff that caters to your needs
- Lush scenery allows for gorgeous photos
- on site catering & bartending services
- space for getting ready pre-ceremony

All of these are reason enough to host your wedding at Nazareth Hall!
One of the best parts of being involved in the wedding community is the thoughtful talent that comes together to re-imagine what weddings could be and bring fresh inspiration to the eyes of new brides looking for something different and unique.
That is exactly what our recent Garden Grotto inspired wedding shoot did!

The Garden Grotto at Nazareth Hall truly a gem of it’s own. Getting to the grotto, you can take a winding stroll down from the butterscotch bricked venue on the historic property that feels like stepping into your own secret garden, or hitch a ride on one of luxury golf shuttles that are available to make the journey down as comfortable as possible for you and your guests. Although the Grotto is a place that many couples choose to have there ceremonies, the ability for the space to really shine was showcased perfectly during our summer styled shoot.

From a photography standpoint, the Grotto is a dream. The natural stone, lush greenery, and romantic archways create an instant backdrop that requires very little added décor to feel extraordinary. But it’s also a chameleon where it is equally perfect for a couple’s epic ceremony as it is for a lavish luxury garden wedding. We can photograph a private first look that feels like a stolen moment in the woods, then just steps away, capture the energy of a candlelit reception under the night sky.

For this styled shoot, the Grotto bloomed into life. Cassandra Clair of Event Prep, Abby Henley of Nazareth Hall and Michelle Cooper from Belle & Bee Photography brought a new vision to the Grotto space that was fresh, elegant and bursting with inspiration! The entire vendor team knocked the Garden Soiree concept out of the park with perfect details created by Shayna Looney of Shaytionary Designs, florals from the Flower Mercantile and Belle Fleur that paired perfectly with the whimsy of our garden theme. Let us not forget that Nazareth Hall is a premier caterer that offers not only amazing appetizers (delivered down to your guests after the ceremony so that couples and wedding parties can re-fuel before photos!) but their upping their food game by offering a custom Gelato Bar perfect for hot days and summer nights!

What we love most about Nazareth Hall is that the beauty doesn’t stop at the Grotto. The historic chapel, with its stained glass and soaring beams, offers an entirely different atmosphere for timeless portraits or an elegant indoor ceremony. The grand ballrooms provide dramatic, refined reception spaces filled with golden light and vintage charm. Photographing here means your wedding gallery will have variety with multiple settings, each with its own mood and without ever leaving the venue!

Couples who choose Nazareth Hall aren’t just looking for a place to get married. They’re searching for an experience: one that feels personal, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful. As photographers, we can tell you that utilizing the Grotto for not only a wedding ceremony but re-imagining the space at Nazareth Hall delivers that in spades.

On your wedding day, you deserve to feel completely present, soaking in the laughter, the tears, the joyful chaos. Our job is to preserve it all in a way that tells your story authentically. At Nazareth Hall, no matter which space you choose for your wedding; those moments don’t just happen, they bloom all around you.
