Spending the day with your friends is something we do quite often. When we met Ariel a few months ago as she was preparing for her wedding this year in Detroit, her fiance Blake was still back in Chicago studying Business Management. We had planned on winter engagements for them and met up for a bite to eat the night before at a local Italian restaurant and felt like we became fast friends with them both.  Of course, winter engagements means cold and blistery – and the next day the Chicago weather did not disappoint! Taking their dogs Bonnie & Clyde out for a walk down the street from their house was our first stop of the day, then we rode into the city and walked around the Lincoln Park Zoo. Lunch with the potty mouthed ladies at the Wiener Circle followed by Blake taking us on our first Subway ride around the city! It was a fun day despite the cold and we were able to share laughs & get some amazing shots with Ariel & Blake!
