When Megan Thomas, Nazareth Hall’s Event Manager asked us about showcasing the Gabriel Ballroom this winter, we were super excited! Not only is Nazareth Hall one of the best venues in Toledo, it is also one of our favorite places to photograph at because of all the great details we can incorporate through out the venue. We met with Megan and talked about enlisting the help of other top wedding vendors of Toledo to make this shoot spectacular! The theme was a luxurious mix of navy, blush and gold. We wanted to give brides a look into what a well styled wedding could look like within the space that the Gabriel Ballroom provides. Chris Magers, owner of Magers Designs set the mood for the room perfectly with gorgeous rose colored uplighting along with delicate amber lights that shimmered through the backdrop framing our head table.
Once the set was designed, creating the tablescape for our head table was all about the details. We had crystal and gold hurricanes from Homegoods tiered in the center of the table overflowing with the amazing smells of Beautiful Blooms by Jen floral arrangements. We encouraged Jen and her amazing team at BBBJ to showcase their creativity, so we gave them our color palette and they did not disappoint with the bouquets that were made!
Weddingstar provided us with all the details seen here to really make the shoot look exactly as it would for a real wedding. From the matching gold invitations, place cards & menu cards to the tea light holders and multi-purpose rings decorating the navy napkins, it was the little details that made the table shine. Seeing the room and table finished was a dream come true for us!
Our cake was provided by Cherry Lane Custom Cakes. The 3 tiered dessert was adorned with gold jewels and looked delicious! Cindy Woodbury really outdid herself, meeting with us in the wee hours of the morning to present the cake after she had been up all night with her family. We wanted to congratulate her on becoming a grandma on the eve of our shoot!
Wardrobe for our bride and groom was provided by the super nice Scott Bonnick of Ticknor’s Men’s Clothier and Michelle McCaulla of Belle Amour Bridal. Ticknor’s custom tailors all of the suits for their grooms, making sure every man looks as dapper as our model Youssef G. Jabaly. Model bride Christine Moore dazzled in a gold Justin Alexander Signature bridal gown from Belle Amour Bridal. Michelle was beyond generous to allow us to use her hairpieces and shoes as well. Our Bride and Groom were styled and glammed up with extremely talented Makeup By Amy Lewis and hair by Jenelle Ahmad.
Our friend Gina Gueli also got involved and featured the whole shoot and collaborators on A Wedding Show, a local television show in Toledo Ohio that is all about sharing the best wedding vendors, tips and helping brides plan their big day. Thanks to Gina for hosing the show and to Mike Jameson from Creative Video Imagery for filming our segment! You can watch the video below!
We have been so blessed with our friendships that we have made here in Toledo and wanted to thank everyone again for all of their hard work and help to make this shoot so wonderful. It has been amazing getting to know all of you and an honor to work with you!
