These two sweet people were married on a perfect July summer day with the sun shining and their favorite people surrounding them.
Arie & Scott are a fun, laid back & passionate couple who met on a sorority hayride almost a decade ago. They have a mutual love for Michigan State Spartans, food & staying healthy and fit. Together, they love working with others and helping them succeed. Arie loves that Scott really cares about everyone & Scott admires Arie’s compassionate nature.
Their wedding day was full of special moments, from all of the hard work that Scott’s father David did to prepare for a loving speech before dinner, still recovering from a stroke earlier this year to the tearful dance that Arie shared with her dad, Thomas; we had to keep our fingers on the camera shutter while trying to blink back tears, ourselves!
Because of their love for delicious food, Arie & Scott had their favorite restaurant The Soup Spoon Cafe, from Lansing cater the wedding dinner bringing farm to table delights such as: Lobster risotto, bacon wrapped scallops, pheasant – even gourmet grilled cheeses for a late night snack!
The end of their night was celebrated by popping champagne with their wedding party while we made sure that there were no car casualties in the parking lot!
